Calling all YOUTH in Whatcom County!
Come participate in the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Human Rights Conference’s Youth Summit on Monday, January 18th from 1pm to 4pm. Featuring programming created by youth for youth, this portion of the conference prioritizes youth voices in our community.
There will be a panel of youth activists and organizers, presentations from local students, Know Your Rights workshop for BIPOC youth presented by Racial Justice Coalition, and What Allyship to BIPOC Means led by students. There will also be space for an open mic, continued conversations with student organizers, and reflection among students.
