Presented by Dr. Lauren McClanahan

Media can be a powerful way for youth to raise their voices and share issues that matter to them. Please join us in this session where we will screen a series of short documentary films written, shot and edited by local middle school students. Topics of these films include climate justice, immigration, same-sex marriage and more. Tips and guidelines will be shared with teachers and/or youth who may be interested in harnessing the power of digital storytelling in their own contexts.
