Presented by Aisha Mansour and Yara Clark
Why are settler colonial states like the U.S.A., Israel, and South Africa reliant on apartheid to uphold their nation’s premier status? This will be an open discussion to remember the history of resilience in the indigenous Palestinian struggle in Palestine paralleled to the civil rights movement in the United States. Specific topics will highlight various intersections of Indigenous and Black resistance and oppression. These include, but are not limited to, increased surveillance and disruption of social organizing, segregation, and the prison industrial-complex.
